fernando_b Posted October 18, 2006 Share #5 Posted October 18, 2006 Mehmet, impressive the third. Remember my youthness. In my town near Milan Italy, they have disappeared at least 30 years ago, may because of pollution in those years. We called them "gatta pelosa" i.e. cat with fur, and fear them when dropping on our heads. Fernando.
darkness30 Posted October 18, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted October 18, 2006 Fernando, i can relate to that memory as well. I grew up in a farm and those years we didnt use Pesticides and everything was natural. We had this giant bright green moth caterpillars that fell on us from the vine that hang on top of a wooden platform that we put for it. Those moths were impressive, they were big and handsome however i believe with the use of pesticides they are all gone extinct. At one time a wild bobcat kitten came out of the forest and become tamed and lived many years with us. That bob cat was so big and fearless it always chased our dogs when it wanted to and slept on cold night with them as well and it also reduced mice significantly. Any how i am glad it ment something to you. Thanks, Mehmet
