BobPS Posted December 21, 2008 Share #1 Posted December 21, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi guys, One day after I picked up my M6, my 50 cron arrived. My first impression was this lens is really small. As a first time Leica RF user, I use SLR for a long time, I found that everything was wrong with Leica the focus ring and the aperture ring are in the wrong position, they (aperture and focus) also move in the wrong direction compared to my Nikkor lenses (but the same direction as my Minolta) and finally the biggest problem ... the viewfinder is in the wrong location I'm so used to SLR finder's position (in the mid section of the body under the hotshoe) that everytime I picked up my M6, I automatically placed my eye (I'm a left eye shooter) on the mid part of the camera, under the hotshoe ... only to find nothing there and everytime my first thought was oh I forgot to remove the lens cap No mirror blackout is also something new for me, that every now and then, after I press the shutter release I wonder if it works In short I love this camera Bob

enboe Posted December 21, 2008 Share #2 Posted December 21, 2008 Nothing like the sounds of delight from a child playing with a new toy, even if the child is several decades old. Congratulations on your new M6. It should bring you delight for the rest of your life, and the lives of your offspring after that. Eric
