talldave Posted December 16, 2008 Share #1 Posted December 16, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a new (to me) Digilux 2 and I am looking for a quick release for the camera and I don't want to take it off to remove the battery. I've used Kirk plates on my old M camera but Kirk has nothing which will fit---Any suggestions?? Talldave

cbretteville Posted December 16, 2008 Share #3 Posted December 16, 2008 I seen to recall that the battery can be replaced when I have a Manfrotto 200PL plate on the D2. I can verify that when I get home from work. - Carl
ajthornbury Posted December 16, 2008 Share #4 Posted December 16, 2008 I have a Manfrotto Modo 785B tripod, and keep the plate on my D2, it sits well clear of the battery flap, and enables battery changing with removing the plate. Alan.
Moment Posted June 7, 2012 Share #5 Posted June 7, 2012 I've got the same question - I'm looking at the really right stuff mc-l, that is stated to be compatible with the digilux 2 - i love their quality. I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with this combination and perhaps provide some photos for reference.
