Stefan, looking like a pro, whether we are or not, can actually have its advantages.

I know. When I want to take advantage of 'looking like a pro', I use one or two EOS 1Ds... :D

So, one could justify 187 bodies to one's spouse, right?

Considering you'd need to enlist the services not only of the spouse but also of the mistress and girlfriend just to carry all of those, you might consider limiting yourself to only 7 or 8 bodies. :p

Hi again to everyone. Thanks so much for all the great input, opinions and the entertaining dialogue.

I got my 2nd MP yesterday and just like the first one it's a wonderful camera. I must admit that the heft and smooth wind and shoot features are an improvement over the M6, as is the rewind mechanism. However, in my opinion the MP is just that, an improvement on a great camera, the M6. They're great mechanical cameras with the added benefit of a meter (if you choose to use it, and I do).

The single most significant improvement (again, in my opinion) is the finder. The MP's finder is superior. Thus I suppose it seems many people replace their finders with the MP finder.

All said, I do love the MP's, however, I can't see parting with my trusty '6. It's not that it offers something the MP's do not, it's just the lingering attachment to my first Leica.

I suppose now I'll need to find a suitable lens to park on the '6 so it can remain active. As a previous post alluded, maybe tri-x in one, kodachrome in another and neopan in the 3rd. What was it? one for each eye and one for the hip?

Perhaps if I can't shoot like a pro, I can at least dress like one.;)
