dugby Posted October 12, 2006 Share #5 Posted October 12, 2006 Since this thread is moving West...... my 2c Had my D2 for 18 months and it's been a joy to use. I've started with a Minolta rangefinder, then onto an Olympus OM1 and OM4 for close on 35 years, occassional Nikon F2, Canons and Minolta's and the odd Blad. The D2 produces what I describe as life, or "glow" to my digital images. Last week in the Lama Pens at the Royal Agriculture Show in Perth, I was followed by a gentleman for a few minutes before he eventually spoke up and asked if my D2 was similar to the new M8. I was quite please to see that even here (in what I describe as the most isolated city in the world) news of the D2 and M8 is alive and well. Dugby in Perth. PS also in this time seen the price of the D2 double on ebay, early 2005 they were < US$1K ;-)
