Different lens coatings on DLux4 n LX3

My LX3 n DLux4 have different lens coatings. Any1 else noticed it on theirs?

I would not think so, aren't they both labelled Leica Summicron? I doubt Leica would agree to it.

I would really like to see a comparison between images taken with both cameras (same image, taken at the same time/ISO/settings etc) and posted straight from camera, i.e. no PP.

 

Can you do that or have you done it?

 

I really would like to see if there is any noticeable differences between them - the 'mystery' of the actual differences between Leica/Pana variants has been running since the D1, and I've yet to see such a comparison.

First impressions on my work monitor...as expected the Pana looks a fraction more contrasty and sharper, due to the in camera processing default settings. In terms of colour, from here at least and on the basis of a VGA image, I see no difference.
