Advertisement Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Hi uwe zankl, Take a look here Leic II zu IIIa umgebaut, schwarz. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted November 28, 2008 Share #2 Posted November 28, 2008 Does it come with it's own basket? It looks in diabolical condition to me, like it's been at the bottom of a pond for 50 years. I wouldn't pay £200 for it.
luigi bertolotti Posted November 28, 2008 Share #3 Posted November 28, 2008 NO, honestly I say it does not deserve that price... a common camera, in bad conditions, and the unusual engravings in a model that was made in several thousands, gone all over the world, is not a significant value adder... dozens are known. I think that casket may be more apt, as the poor thing might require a permanent resting place...
jc_braconi Posted November 28, 2008 Share #5 Posted November 28, 2008 Genuine Leica IIIa Black are quite rare only 800 were made in 1935. This is not a genuine one as it is basically a II black from 1934. the cosmetic is really bad and the engraving do not add any value. 200£ is a bit too much, try to get a lower price if you really want it.
