fotografr Posted October 10, 2006 Share #1 Posted October 10, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Shot this during a brief break while on assignment in San Francisco. I really wanted to get out to the Golden Gate at sunrise or sunset but the schedule was far too tight. I didn't even get to Fisherman's Wharf for seafood. :-(
Advertisement Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Hi fotografr, Take a look here Across The Bay. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
larry Posted October 11, 2006 Share #2 Posted October 11, 2006 Brent, All three of your shots really capture the vibrant feel of SF. It's hard place to visit without a camera (that would, and should, only happen accidentally.) Larry
martinop Posted October 11, 2006 Share #3 Posted October 11, 2006 Very nice view and perspective. Also like much the color mix and DOF. What lens was used?
fotografr Posted October 12, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted October 12, 2006 Thanks much, Larry and Paul. You're right, Larry. I'd be really frustrated in a city like that without a camera. It's a beautiful place with a lot of visual interest. Paul--I shot this scene with the M7 & 28, but haven't processed the film yet. This one was done with the little LX-1 with the lens zoomed out to about 23mm (not sure what that translates to in actual focal length--probably around 100mm)
