Just noticed the following ratios ;

the length x width of the D3 sensor to D2 sensor ratio is 2x (ie 4x bigger)

the length x width of the M8 sensor to D2 sensor ratio is 3x (ie 9x bigger)

Sensor size;

D2 is 8.80mm x 6.60mm

D3 is 18.00mm x 13.50mm

M8 is 27.00mm x 18.00mm

Pixel density;

D2 5.2Mp in 58.08mm^2 = 11.2mm^2/Mp

D3 7.9Mp in 234mm^2 = 29.6mm^2/Mp

M8 10.3Mp in 486mm^2 = 47mm^2/Mp

With such increases in aerial density the M8 should deliver some outstanding images.

... so these sheep are going to come up with something so important that we all will reconsider how we use cameras. Lewis Carroll was a mathematician and the went from big to small with similiar sensory results etc then off with the pixels and fairies... megapixies
