biglouis Posted November 6, 2008 Share #4 Posted November 6, 2008 Steve I am really impressed by this capture. Firstly, you have isolated the stalks perfectly with the plane of focus bang on. The exposure looks perfect and the isolation of the subject is wonderful. I love the understated Portra colours which is a perfect choice for the subject. Incidentally, as you know, I use the 35-lux in a similar way on my M8 but I have to tell you I would not attempt this kind of shot because an accurate plane of focus on the M8 at this level is very difficult, so here is an example of an advantage of film over digital, imho. Anyway, excellent shot. LouisB
Marquinius Posted November 6, 2008 Share #5 Posted November 6, 2008 Steve, Almost abstract, the way you put these stalks so sharp in the foreground. Lovely photo! Marco
