For a thrill, some hardcore precision mechanics, and a bit of a challenge initially, try out a meter-less M. Just use a hand held meter to start; then you will find a certain creative power and liberty in working without the in-camera meter. Don't get me wrong, I love my MP; for shooting at certain social occasions, its in-camera meter is so useful and helps me to avoid the distracting aspects of aiming a meter at someone in difficult lighting. But for a lot of my shooting, I think I prefer my M3 and M2 over my MP. All of my Ms are superb, but my M2 and M3 have a certain je ne sais quoi. My advice is :> M4 or M6? Buy the M4. M4 or M2/M3? The question:Should I get an identical M6 OR a silver M4 which has been offered at 650€? Hi, from my point of view you are at the very beginning of your re-start too much hardware orientated.
