Ditto - thanks to Brian for organising and Ivor & Elaine from Red Dot, good to see everyone and meet a couple of new faces. The Capa exhibition is well worth seeing.

How remiss of me in my original post not to thank Elaine as well, especially for putting up with a load of blokes!

PS Should we post pictures here or in a separate thread in 'Other'?

An excellent day out. Quite how that 'last quick drink' lasted until after 10 pm I'm not sure! Went to the leibewitz exhibition today. Enjoyed it far more than I expected. I must dig out my MF camera. The printing was superb, though I prefer her b&w work. The book of the exhibition has been bought and posted foc to my home address.

Currently in the Chandos near ENO drinking Sam Smith's @ £1.76 a pint!

Look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

First of all, my thanks to all who turned up on a day with less than inviting weather. Special thanks to Ivor and Elaine for opening Red Dot especially for the occasion, and to Leica (via Richard & Ivor) for the magnificent freebies.

I would also like to mention Hsin who, being in London this weekend for a concert, turned up at the pub!

I would have posted these earlier but I had to go to see "Byzantium" at the RA @10 am today!

Excellent captures, so far from George and Brian. Here are some of mine, all taken with the LX3, which I have to say acquited itself very well.

Again, Brian thank you for arranging an excellent day. I'm glad to have met Ivor and Elaine of Red Dot and look forward to having a working Summicron 35 again. Thanks must also go to Leica for my new jacket, Christmas came early!

Just to reiterate what Louis wrote, Elaine I don't know how you managed to put up with a bunch of blokes rabbiting on about cameras for that length of time - thank you again!

Like the pictures guys, there're some crackers there. I will try to put one or two up when the film is processed.

Big thank you to all the 'Erfahrener Benutzer' who were incredibly welcoming and a pleasure to shoot the breeze and catch an exhibition with.

Very sorry I could not make it - looks like a good day. Some nice photos. Love some of the architectural and exhibition ones. But the one of Louis on the phone and group behind him is my favourite. Could be the front cover for a (very slightly) aging rock group's album.

By the way, I too visited the Leibewitz exhibition a few weeks ago and was blown away with some of the work on show. It's well worth a couple of hours

Thanks Brian for the organisation.

Although I didn't spend much time with you guys because of my tight rehearsing schedule Sat afternoon, I did enjoy the nice atmosphere. Glad to see some new faces among the old ones. Pity that I didn't have the chance to talk to everyone.

Back to the Parisien routing with the same bl**dy hazy weather...

Best,

Hsin

PS. Thanks to the kind encouragement from some of you, the concert was a delicious sucess althought I was nervous to death.
