Rolo Posted November 30, 2008 Author Share #24 Posted November 30, 2008 Your commitment to the full Christmas lunch is admirable. I'll confirm the bookings - six so far, with the OX on Thursday and fund the deposits until Sunday. Further numbers can be added, probably until the last minute, but fully indebted attendees will have the preference booked seating. elansprint72 Posted December 3, 2008 Share #25 Posted December 3, 2008 Not a bad weather forecast for the week-end, cold but bright.
stunsworth Posted December 3, 2008 Share #26 Posted December 3, 2008 ...cold but bright. Rather like Enoch Powell I suppose.
cocker Posted December 3, 2008 Share #27 Posted December 3, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Rather like Enoch Powell I suppose. That's the trouble with British politics these days - not enough classical scholars.
elansprint72 Posted December 3, 2008 Share #28 Posted December 3, 2008 "If my ship sails from sight, it doesn't mean my journey ends, it simply means the river bends." I'm bloody sure that Powell nicked that from one of them old Greek geezers, innit?

Rolo Posted December 6, 2008 Author Share #33 Posted December 6, 2008 The coffee shop is open by 10:00 am and early birds will be there before that. It's quite likely that we'll still be there at 11:00 am. Lunch is booked for 4 at 2:00 pm. Late bookings can be added tomorrow, assuming there's room. With luck, Pete will bring the S2 along. elansprint72 Posted December 6, 2008 Share #34 Posted December 6, 2008 The S2 will be there in stealth mode; taking a tip from the motor industry we have created a "mule" and transplanted its guts into a Pentax 6X7.

jlancasterd Posted December 6, 2008 Share #37 Posted December 6, 2008 I'm sorry I won't be able to be with you this year - unfortunately I've been suffering from a stiff (and painful) right knee for the past couple of months, which rather discourages city 'walk-arounds'.
