Did you look at the link to the full size image I posted on the GetDPI DMR image thread? Take a look at the trees in the background or the power lines in the background. BTW, this is the full size file of the seven vertical shots stiched into a panorama. How is the "look of it" compared to others. Just did some Lightroom and FlexColor conversions again today of portraits to compare and select the best. But FlexColor looks great but tend to close the shadows. How does the C1 handle the expression in general. (I guess what I'm looking for is a filmlike look, and so far C1 has been very focuced on details, and I guess it's what make MF users happy: Sharpness and details. Even a spanking new download (of 3.7.7, the most recent version I had) just quits when I run the installer. Version 4.5 installs, but I can't get authorization to go through. martinb Posted October 20, 2008 Share #9 Posted October 20, 2008 I'm a little tempted, but don't think I'll do it. A good thing is that the price has gone down a lot. Not along it was twice as expensive.. I personally prefer to work in ACR as I prefer the workflow, but I'm getting more and more used to C1 and I think the IQ is clearly superior to ACR so I've decided to work in C1 for now.. The only drawback, for me, is that the interface is a little to PC oriented and I am addicted to the logic of a Macintosh, my personal opinion, obviously. It seems Phase One has put a lot of effort into franctioning the sharpen tool compared to Lr and CR. The result is crispier even at lower sharpen adjustment. IMHO.
