Guest flatfour Posted October 18, 2008 Share #3 Posted October 18, 2008 Le Mans sure isn't what it used to be. It looks more and more like a Yankee Speedway. Good crisp shot of an Elan. Great performance but not well built and those damn doughnuts - least on the early versions. Wonderful twin cam Ford emgine. How do you get 420mm Pete ? andybarton Posted October 18, 2008 Share #4 Posted October 18, 2008 You hold the button down until it stops putting the lens out I didn't realise that the Le Mans circuit was banked like this Pete. That camber looks nasty.
elansprint72 Posted October 18, 2008 Author Share #5 Posted October 18, 2008 Thanks. The lens has a manual zoom, just rotate the ring and it runs from 35mm - 420mm in a quarter of a turn. The corner at the back of the shot is only very slightly banked but is going appreciably uphill (it must be getting on for 1km away), I wanted to tilt the shot even more but things started going out of the sides. Level is not an option.
