Printer Rubber Roller Restorer - good product

I post this, as it may help other forum member with a similar problem. Our two oldest printers are both HP Business Inkjet 1100 DN's, bought as refurbs about five to six years ago. The print side of these heavy duty office printers (5 to 10,000/month duty cycle) is still working well but the paper feed was much less happy, with misaligned prints. We were also getting paper jams on the first sheet of a duplex run. I took the duplex unit off and opened up all the other doors, hoping to find a scrap of torn paper. What I found was that all the paper rubber feed rollers were hard and glossy black. I tracked down a product called "Rubber Roller Restorer" made by Electrolube. You apply it on a lint free cloth (I used an old, worn out linen tea towel) and clean the rollers thoroughly. You may be amazed at the amount of black that comes off, I assume old dried printer ink. The rollers after cleaning, are back to their original matt charcoal grey appearance and grippy again. Both printers may now be good for another 5 years.

I will take it out to France in the spring, as my HP Photosmart B9180 there, is now having feed troubles on certain heavier gauge papers. My house there, is built on the edge of a 1,000 foot high escarpment and is therefore, subject to all the notorious Provençal winds, all 32 different ones and in consequence, there is a lot of dust.
