Advertisement Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Hi Ignatius, Take a look here Luis Buñuel's Leica M3. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
luigi bertolotti Posted October 10, 2008 Share #2 Posted October 10, 2008 I didn't know the great Bunuel was a Leiciste... but I knew he lived in Mexico for many years: one of my absolute myths in cinema: from "un chien andalou" till "cet obscur objet du desir" tehre are amny incredible masterpieces. vertekijker Posted October 10, 2008 Share #3 Posted October 10, 2008 I'm also a great fan - 'Belle de jour', 'The milky way'. I never knew he used a Leica M3 for his work - a surrealist's tool. ------------------- Frans

Ignatius Posted October 16, 2008 Author Share #8 Posted October 16, 2008 Is it possible to see the photographs he took with the camera? Yes. They have been published in Spain by the Filmoteca Española in the catalogues of two exhibitions: "México fotografiado por Luis Buñuel", and "Buñuel. Entre dos mundos". The latter is now in Mexico City at the Centro Nacional de las Artes.
