When the hood on the tele-elmar 135 is reversed what lens cap goes on the hood?

Is it a special cap or is it a standard size?

I found information on a cap for the lens when the hood is left in place which I understood was a 55 mm snap cap - is that information correct?

If it's the hood I'm thinking of, same as the the one for the 90mm 12575N or some cryptic letter/number combo, with push bars on the side to retract the locking lugs it is a special cap of a special size that has cutouts to go around the push bars. Very hard to find when you want one. Fairly easy to find when you have no interest in it.

There is also a cap that mounts flush and locks in with the locking pins inside the hood.

If you are using a 39mm UV-ir filter, a modern Leica 39mm cap will fit with the hood reversed because the filter threads stick out far enough for the modern cap to engage into them.
