RobMac Posted September 29, 2008 Share #1 Posted September 29, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) How have non-German (or German) photogs found dealing with Meister Camera's Hamburg outlet? Have been trading emails with Meister's Berlin outlet with no issue. Prompt responses, very helpful. However, questions to the Hamburg outlet re: some items in their stock go nowhere. Multiple emails over the last week - no responses. Not a great way to run an online business - any hints or is this typical?

andym911 Posted September 29, 2008 Share #2 Posted September 29, 2008 I deal with them all the time and am extremely satisfied. I can only assume that they are very busy, maybe best to just give them a call. I have made numerous transactions with them and can only say 100% satisfied. good luck andy

carstenw Posted September 29, 2008 Share #5 Posted September 29, 2008 I have had fantastic service from the Meister Camera Berlin store, and the one time I met Mr. Meister himself, he was really helpful. I would give them a shout. Maybe your email is getting filtered or something, or maybe they just don't have the time for online requests at the moment. Were they perhaps at Photokina last week and unable to keep up to date on the emails? Robert

Overgaard Posted September 29, 2008 Share #8 Posted September 29, 2008 100% satisfied as well with both Berlin and Hamburg. I like the Hamburg better for their 2nd hand stock in the shop. You're sure you have the right e-mail by the way?

greg s. Posted September 30, 2008 Share #10 Posted September 30, 2008 Some years ago, Meister had been elected the best Leica dealer in Germany. I think, you can't do wrong with them. Best, Greg

StS Posted September 30, 2008 Share #12 Posted September 30, 2008 I have no experience with the online service since I live in Hamburg. In my experience Leica Meister is one of the best and most customer oriented shops I know. Their service is appropriate to the prices of the products, in my view. RobMac Posted September 30, 2008 Author Share #13 Posted September 30, 2008 Ah, nothing like an intelligent, well-reasoned response. I guess Berliner's don't make it to Potokina? Didn't realize Meister Hamburg was a 1-man outfit. Thanks ever so much for coming out... Duhuh, he is at the Photokina, can't you guess?
