Advertisement Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Hi fotografr, Take a look here Nice Day For Pickin'. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted October 2, 2006 Share #2 Posted October 2, 2006 Very nice indeed. The youngster, hidden from view except in the reflection, adds so much. Is he playing a squeeze-box? I'm surprised he leaves all that cash in his case, though. Over here, any decent cash that gets dropped in gets removed straight away, to go for the "sympathy" drop

The kid's reflection was one of the things I most liked about this. He was just enthralled. No squeezebox, though--that's just his hat he is holding. This guy actually does empty his case pretty regularly. He's just so good it fills right back up again. He could easily perform onstage and get a recording contract, but prefers this kind of lifestyle. At least this way his dollars aren't likely going to support the Bush occupation of Iraq. martinop Posted October 2, 2006 Share #4 Posted October 2, 2006 Also like the impact of the window reflections (boy & guitarist) on the overall composition.
svenning Posted October 3, 2006 Share #5 Posted October 3, 2006 Dear Brent, You have taken a photograph with a lot of details in it (!) I have sitten here by my PC and studying it for several minutes and I like the picture a lot :-)) All the best - Svenning, Denmark.
imported_peter_m Posted October 3, 2006 Share #6 Posted October 3, 2006 Very nice Brent, Perfect timing , the guy playing the guitar, the pedestrians, the whole scene reflecting in the window and the boy that is only a reflection. I like it a lot, kind of wondering what the woman got in the package. Peter
fotografr Posted October 3, 2006 Author Share #7 Posted October 3, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks Peter. I don't know what she has in the box, but I just noticed her name is clearly marked on it. My guess is that it's some kind of produce because this was taken during our big weekly farmers' market. I actually know the woman walking with her and she is one of the vendors at the market. Svenning and Paul--Thanks much for your comments. I'm glad you liked the photo.
