carstenw Posted September 22, 2008 Share #142 Posted September 22, 2008 you could also say slower than a Canon and less resolution than a Hassy Sure, but no one buys a camera for its weakest points! The strong points place it squarely between the DSLR market and the DMF market, with several advantages from each.
carstenw Posted September 22, 2008 Share #143 Posted September 22, 2008 "The optic calculation incorporates all the factors and requirements of digital technology, meaning that software to correct image artifacts becomes superfluous." thrid Posted September 22, 2008 Share #146 Posted September 22, 2008 Did anyone notice that there's a Tilt/Shift lens (focal length not visible) in the camera + lens lineup photo linked above? Preferring the M system, I'm not even considering the S2 (even if I could afford it) but it is all very impressive. A must for product and architectural shots... thrid Posted September 22, 2008 Share #148 Posted September 22, 2008 I wonder what 37MP without an AA filter and Leica glass looks like. Some MF backs have exchangeable filters in front of the sensor. Anyone think it has an IR filter over the sensor? The DMR did if I remember correctly. leica007 Posted September 22, 2008 Share #159 Posted September 22, 2008 So, Herr AK confidently tells you - the professional photographer - "you have got a perfect tool" . The only problem is that the banks are failing, so even if you raid and loot them, most probably you will not get enough cash. even if you get any , they won't be of much value.
