Advertisement Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Hi smokysun, Take a look here g1 and r lenses. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
adan Posted September 18, 2008 Share #2 Posted September 18, 2008 1) No one has said so officially, but 2) there is not reason why not. G1 takes regular 4/3rds lenses via adapter, and regular 4/3rds camera take R lenses, so at worst it would require two adapters: r - 4/3rds, 4/3rds - Micro 4/3rds
smokysun Posted September 18, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted September 18, 2008 thanks. it's a serious consideration to go with the smaller primes: 28 and 50. a very compact kit.
Sandokan Posted September 19, 2008 Share #4 Posted September 19, 2008 are you sure you mean to use the R lenses on the Micro 4/3? I simply ask, as I would not describe them as "compact". The M lenses are compact but the R50/1.4 is probably bigger than the G1 camera? I was thinking of using my M lenses on the G1 camera ... if they will work?
