Stuart- I had never heard of the Copperstate 1000 until I googled it today. I may have to go next year! This is the Colorado Grand.

You are right about sharpening. I am always afraid to overdo it. I've attached a sharpened copy. I think it is an improvement.

 

Allan- Be careful what you wish for. This car was originally configured as a single-seater, and was configured for a passenger to participate in this rally. One can see the result of the extra weight in the extreme negative camber of the rear wheels. The owner/driver said it was scary to drive fast. "...not meant for this sort of thing..." Still, it makes a lovely noise, and I would also love to drive it if it were set up properly (and if I could get past worrying about how much $ it is worth:eek: )
