mikej Posted September 30, 2006 Share #1 Posted September 30, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, all - sorry if this is a re-tread thread, but I didn't find specifics in the forum search. Is there any particular reason to choose one of these units over the other when using with an MP? If possible, please stick to the Leica flash info rather than heading off to Metz-land. Thanks, and Cheers, Mike
Advertisement Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 Hi mikej, Take a look here Leica Flash w/ MP - SF-20 or SF-24?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
enboe Posted September 30, 2006 Share #2 Posted September 30, 2006 2 solid reasons, 1 wishy washy one: 1. The SF-24 allows for you to select from 6 auto stop settings, the SF-20 only 3. 2. The SF-24 comes with wide and tele clip-on lenses, the SF-20 only wide. 3. The SF-24 used to be available in a titanium/chrome plastic finish, which matches the chrome MP much better. asmith Posted October 1, 2006 Share #4 Posted October 1, 2006 The 20 is fine with MP or M7 but you need the 24 with M8 or D2. Alwyn
