Advertisement Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Hi JBP, Take a look here External Flash for the V-Lux1. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Riley Posted September 9, 2008 Share #2 Posted September 9, 2008 V-Lux accessories are the same as Panasonic for FZ50 the flash has an Olympus pinout, so any Olympus digital compatible flash is ok, that includes some of the Metz units. you can use Panasonic DMW-FL360 and DMW-FL500 flash, but you will likely find the identical Olympus FL36, FL50 units are cheaper. there is also Panasonic DMW-FL28, but unlike the 36/50 series, i dont know if it is TTL

elansprint72 Posted September 9, 2008 Share #7 Posted September 9, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Yes, I was wrong, Riley was right! I bought the Olympus FL50, hell of a powerful thing, don't look at it when firing! The Panasonic ones are made by Olympus, I guess that's why they are dearer. I'm surprised by the prices being asked on ebay for the SF24D, mine came "free" with my D2.
