However, maybe only in the later M8 like mine, when fitted with a Zeiss Biogon 35, with no hand-done coding, aperture is not being reported in the EXIF. Â Yes, the aperture is not recorded but it IS being measured and used to calculate the amount of monochrome vignetting to be applied in correct software (1.09). And after the release of 1.10, the aperture will be used to control the cyan vignetting. Leica could elect to have the apeture recorded in the EXIF data and I wish the would.
