Thanks, Darlene

ho_co Posted August 20, 2008 Share #2 Posted August 20, 2008 Darlene-- There've been several threads on this topic, which I suppose you can turn up with the forum 'search' function. The threads I've seen have been for the M8, not the D2, so you may need to check in the M8 forum. I won't recommend any brackets, but I do know that Nikon's contacts are in the same places as those of the D2, so the Nikon SC-17 (old version) and SC-28 (current version) flash extension cords work fine with the SF 24D. cbretteville Posted August 20, 2008 Share #3 Posted August 20, 2008 The SC-17 works well just be aware of the spiral cord that is attached to the shoe on the front so that the cord sticks out over the lens. Not a big deal. - Carl
ho_co Posted August 20, 2008 Share #4 Posted August 20, 2008 Carl is right about the SC-17. That's what Nikon corrected with the SC-28 (for a noticeable price increase): On the SC-28, the cord comes out of the side instead of the front of the on-camera shoe.
