Advertisement Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Hi MrSpiffy, Take a look here Panoramic Mode w/Digilux 2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted August 11, 2008 Share #2 Posted August 11, 2008 I would have to look, but these panoramic modes make no sense. They just crop off the top and bottom pixels, something you can do just as well in the computer, even better because you can recompose. If you want to make real panoramas, the way is to take a number of images and merge them using appropriate software.
doubice Posted August 11, 2008 Share #3 Posted August 11, 2008 How do I get to the Panoramic Mode on the Leica Digilux 2 or 3 (i have both). Thank you, Ken The Digilux 2 does not have a Panorama Mode. Jaap is of course correct - same effect can be achieved by cropping with your software. The feature is really useless, as it was with 35mm cameras where masks cropped off the top and bottom of the regular 35mm frame. I assume you are not referring to the D-Lux 2 and D-Lux 3, those of course do have the 16:9 mode. Best, Jan
MrSpiffy Posted August 11, 2008 Author Share #4 Posted August 11, 2008 Ok.... thank you for the replies. They actually helped me make a decision on an "image previewing" project. Greatly Appreciated! Ken
