Canon FD to Leica SM Converter?

Recommended Posts

John,

The link you provided does indeed show an original 'Canon Adapter B', which allows use of Canon FD lenses on a Leica / Canon screwmount body. By adding an LTM to M mount adapter, it can also be used for M bodies.

Infinity focus is fully maintained but, there will obviously be no rangefinder coupling.

Best,

Jan

Yes, as there was also a german Novoflex one, code LEICAN like this one:

Novoflex made all sort of interesting Nikkor, M42, etc adapters for the LTM. I do not know if they're still in production.

I regret having long sold this one, as I have now a Canon FD 7.5mm fisheye that would be *rather* interesting on the M8.

Best,

Ed

(PS: Sorry the commercial copyright, I could not find the originals in my macbook, they should be at home on a different hard drive. In any case, the pictures copyrights are mine).
