wda Posted September 25, 2006 Share #1 Posted September 25, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was waiting for the lighting to improve for a shot I planned to take near this scene with my M6, when I noticed this animated family group. I grabbed it with my little digital compact (Leica Vario Elmarit FX7) under bright overcast. Is this 'people' or 'landscape'? Does it matter? stuny Posted September 26, 2006 Share #3 Posted September 26, 2006 David - Nice composition. It almost looks posed rather than caught, suggesting a tight family unit.
wda Posted September 26, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted September 26, 2006 Stuart, thank you. Yes, it does look posed but I can assure you it wasn't. In fact I had just met a couple in the garden and was talking to them about the lighting when I spotted the shot. I don't think they even noticed me take the quick grab shot as all elements fell into place. My M6 was on a tripod looking the other way! Hence the use of the little compact camera.
