egibaud Posted August 7, 2008 Share #1 Posted August 7, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, Yesterday I installed Lightroom 2. on iMac 24" running OS 10.5.4 It worked fine everything nice, I open older catalog, upgrade them and everything perfect. This afternoon I went out for a photo session... I started importing my DNG only pics in Lightroom 1 and they were all automatically switching to black and white, I saw them in color until fully loaded and then jumped to black and white. So I openend in Lightroom 2 same thing then CS3 SAME THING! 3 cards, same error. I openend in my notebook where I haven't got Lightroom 2 and all pics are fine!!! Yesterday I did install the Beta1 Adobe profile, could this be the problem? how can I switch back to old profiles? This is VERY urgent I cannot work on the pics, I need correct calibration and this is not possible on my notebook. Please Helpppppppppppp!!! Thanks, Eric

egibaud Posted August 7, 2008 Author Share #2 Posted August 7, 2008 I have just deleted the Adobe beta 1 profiles, SAME problem. I went to the Develop module, right clicked to check if reseting the image would bring back to color... :-( nothing, it seems that no manipulation is done when importing. ceflynn Posted August 8, 2008 Share #4 Posted August 8, 2008 Assuming the images are still on the card, make a folder on your desktop named Images for Import. Set the view of the folder to List, so no icons are showing (to avoid previews). Copy the images from the card to the folder, then import them into Lightroom.
