JohnGregory Posted August 4, 2008 Share #1 Posted August 4, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have found 4 volumes of the pre-war magazine published by Leitz in London called 'Leica News & Technique'. They are in grey 'rexine' binders which were sold at the time for loose binding. The dates I have are 1935 to 1938 inclusive. Can anyone give me some info on this publication, for instance did it continue after the war and when did Leitz stop publishing it.
Advertisement Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Hi JohnGregory, Take a look here Leica News & technique. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Pecole Posted September 4, 2008 Share #2 Posted September 4, 2008 Leica News and Technique was published by the British importer. The nº 1is for January, 1935 and the very last issue nº39 is for May-June, 1939. I own an original copy of the letter by Wallace Heaton Ltd dated February 2, 1940 confirming that due to war, nº 40 had never been issued. Publication has never been resumed. Hope this will be useful.
