fotografr Posted August 9, 2008 Share #23 Posted August 9, 2008 Amazing sequence. You really had presence of mind to continue shooting through all the commotion. Whatever made the gallery owner think this crowd was getting unruly?

PhotoArchival Posted August 10, 2008 Author Share #25 Posted August 10, 2008 Amazing sequence. You really had presence of mind to continue shooting through all the commotion. Whatever made the gallery owner think this crowd was getting unruly? Somewhere in between them getting tasered some more on the floor and the last shot, I heard my wifes disconcerting voice over my shoulder telling me that I shouldn't be documenting my friend in this situation. I turned to her quickly and said, "yeah, right! try and stop me!" She understood that I had to do it, and said no more. She was just really upset at the situation. After she saw the photo's, she was glad I continued. Once the dancing kicked in, some kid accidentally knocked a glass or bottle while dancing and it broke on the floor, also, that some of the geusts were getting unruly ( thats what it said in the papers, the whole reason for calling the cops!). I think it had more to do with the fact that she had $6000 paintings still hanging up on the wall, and she saw all this dancing and drinking and shouting and got a bit worried....guess what, it's a wedding! We found out that she just started renting out the space for weddings, and this was only the fifth one she's done! Thanks Again! Amado
