How do I develop a Tri-x?

A friend of mine just gave me his no longer in use Paterson Film Developing tank. Along with it came bottles of Tetenal Ultrafin Developer, Tetenal Variospeed Superfix, Tetenal Stop and Agfa Agepon Wetting Agent. They all are about 4 years old, but hardly used. Have they become too old to use? I just bought some Tri-X to try it out, but I have not developed a film in about 20 years, so any help to ease the procedure would be welcome.

Kind regards

Martin

The Ilford website has a good 'getting started' guide

ILFORD PHOTO - Processing a Black & White film

Your chemicals may be out of date by now (there should be use by dates on the packaging) but it sounds like they may have already been opened in which case they will definately be too old.

I processed my first B&W film in about 20 yrs the other week and it was great!
