John Thawley Posted July 28, 2008 Share #1 Posted July 28, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Shooting around people at a show always presents a challenge, but I managed to get a few semi-clean shots off. JT

elansprint72 Posted July 28, 2008 Share #2 Posted July 28, 2008 Two "Superior" shots of a very clean Brough. B&W suits the subject very well.

John Thawley Posted July 28, 2008 Author Share #4 Posted July 28, 2008 Two "Superior" shots of a very clean Brough. B&W suits the subject very well. I was told by one of the judges that the "very clean Brough" was probably a "six figure" bike. It was spotless. Thanks JT

It was spotless. Thanks JT Could be right, they were never cheap. You'll never see anything quite so clean in the UK; even the "trailer queens" have the odd drop of oil. The Brough Superior was also a rather interesting car but it did not sell well. Keep posting John; you'll not get many comments in this back-water of the forum but those who hang here tend to appreciate old motors (and new). John Thawley Posted July 28, 2008 Author Share #8 Posted July 28, 2008 Keep posting John; you'll not get many comments in this back-water of the forum but those who hang here tend to appreciate old motors (and new). I appreciate it. And, I can post things here that aren't appreciated elsewhere. People tend to expect 1/30th sec. pans from me or they're disappointed. I bought this camera for me... and to stretch myself. So, expect to see me fumbling around here. Thanks, JT
John Thawley Posted July 28, 2008 Author Share #9 Posted July 28, 2008 This was my favorite shot of the weekend. I posted it early on, but perhaps it got lost in the weekend's down time. This is the kind of work I want to do more of. JT
