Kostia Posted July 11, 2008 Share #21 Posted July 11, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I hope somebody can help - I have ordered and paid for a cover for my M8, but have heard nothing from Camera Leather and no reply to my emails. Does anybody have a contact phone number for them - I am sure that this is just a glitch in the system. Thank you in advance. By the way I've gone for the pink .......! My order has arrived after several weeks with a few words to excuse the delay. But it has arrived as I ordered it. Be patient.

thehouseflogger Posted July 25, 2008 Author Share #22 Posted July 25, 2008 Thank you every body for all this. Time is now marching on and I just would like to get a handle on the current situation with this company. Has anybody had any activity with them recently? I realise that it is a horrible time for them but it would be useful to know. Thanks in advance.
thehouseflogger Posted August 5, 2008 Author Share #23 Posted August 5, 2008 Just to draw a line under this thread. Morgan e-mailed me last night and was very apologetic about my delay. He is sending me my cover, complete with a discount. This is so impressive i thought I would let all of you know. BTW, my favourite colour is pink (I am not that way inclined in case anybody wonders, just in control of my girly side!). Morgan said that to the best of his knowledge my M8 will be the only pink one in the world, apart from some other very colourful ones in the LA region! Has anybody noticed that the UV/IR filter throws a pink hue when the light catches it right, so I think a pink chrome M8, light tan luigi strap, and chrome 24mm elmarit will just look dandy. I shall post a picture when done.

thehouseflogger Posted August 5, 2008 Author Share #25 Posted August 5, 2008 Cool Jaap, an educated pov ! "There is no [point in] disputing about tastes." Great customer service though.
Vieri Posted August 5, 2008 Share #26 Posted August 5, 2008 Hmmm... De gustibus non est disputandem, I guess... "De gustibus non disputandum est" to be precise, if my latin still serves me ok. Disputandem doesn't sound quite right very cool Jaap, it's always a pleasure to find a cultivated latinist on the forum

JBerard Posted November 4, 2008 Share #28 Posted November 4, 2008 I am in need of contacting Morgan also. I sent him two cameras two years ago for pattern making. The last e-mail I received from him was 1/5/07. I have e-mailed numerous times to no avail. I wanted leathers but now I would be happy with my cameras returned. JBerard Posted November 4, 2008 Share #29 Posted November 4, 2008 I made contact with Morgan. It seems I was stuck in a spam filter! All is well.
John Thawley Posted January 3, 2009 Share #30 Posted January 3, 2009 OK.... just to move this thread back to the top: Morgan has two of my cameras. He has had them since the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. I have sent numerous emails..... and left numerous voice messages. I have had one email answered about four weeks ago. Does anyone have any information regarding Morgan Sparks. I don't think I'm overreacting here... but, in-as-much as I would like my cameras back (and the work completed) the lack of communication is horrible. I'm truly at a loss of how to proceed. Anyone? iainmurray Posted January 3, 2009 Share #31 Posted January 3, 2009 As you will see from earlier in this thread, I ordered and paid for an item from Camera Leather in April of last year. I am still waiting for delivery. Actually, I am not. I gave up hope months ago.
John Thawley Posted January 4, 2009 Share #32 Posted January 4, 2009 I guess Camera Leather has put a note on their web site citing a storm in December... but that's also what he told me by email back on December 4th. I just don't understand the lack of communication. Again, if anyone has anything to add, please do. JT
John Thawley Posted January 7, 2009 Share #33 Posted January 7, 2009 UPDATE: Morgan is alive and well. I received an email from him last night. He's completed one of my cameras and I must say, from the photos, it looks fabulous. Great stuff... he sure knows how to keep you on edge, though.
