gvaliquette Posted June 27, 2008 Share #1 Posted June 27, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello all: Simple question. When using the 60mm Macro-Elmarit-R ROM on an R8/R9 with the DMR, does the EXIF data include the reproduction ratio? Guy

graeme_clarke Posted June 27, 2008 Share #2 Posted June 27, 2008 Not quite a direct reply, but my 100mm macro ROM simply shows as 100mm on the exif data, whether or not the elpro is fitted to the front. Hope this helps, Graeme
Sandokan Posted June 27, 2008 Share #3 Posted June 27, 2008 Hi, I have the non-ROM version so cant help. However, for the information you want, I believe the lens would have to supply the focus distance and I dont think that is in the data transferred - even my ROM lenses cannot transfer the lens focal length to the camera for Adobe products. gvaliquette Posted June 28, 2008 Author Share #4 Posted June 28, 2008 ...even my ROM lenses cannot transfer the lens focal length to the camera for Adobe products. Hi Bindrar: Thanks. You must be missing something somewhere. All my ROM lenses have the focal lenght, shooting aperture and shutter speed in the EXIF data recorded by the DMR. The EXIF data is easily accessible with PhotoShop Elements 3.0. Are you shooting in RAW mode? Guy
stunsworth Posted June 28, 2008 Share #5 Posted June 28, 2008 Guy, the reproduction ratio depends on the distance between the camera and the subject. That isn't recorded in the Efix data.
