vic vic Posted September 19, 2006 Share #2 Posted September 19, 2006 richard - love this photograph very much. love the static compoaition.... one thiing -- i woud rather contrast a little more in the dark tone areas.... again - use curves... in lightroom that u use... u can add the dark-tone a little luminosity, but close down the compression of backs. then u will have greater contrast between the dar-tone. be aware not to amke it look metalic though.... semrich Posted September 19, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted September 19, 2006 Victor - Thanks for your comments, I am having a difficulty with "saving for web" it ends up way darker afterwards, not what I had before saving. Richard
vic vic Posted September 19, 2006 Share #4 Posted September 19, 2006 ya richard - i know what u mean..., i have about the same problem. besides - i have already said that i dont trust internet pictures that much. i love the photo very much, and im sure that hte better tonality can be achieved there. recomendation...... photoshop uses the function of "image ready" (aditional optimization graphic software). but it is very limited in photoshop. try to use the "image ready" u will probably get better results. sure u will have better control if u have pataince for it (personally i dont ave pataince). another great software is "fireworks" also from adobe and former macromedia. i-photo is also ok generally - neutral. it is a pain man - agree wit uu
