I have individual components and if stored properly, do not go bad. I have some cans that are 40 years old and are fine.

 

Foil packs have dates on them. I would NOT use them without testing, and even than it is chancy. There might be something in there that goes bad and it might test ok and be bad the nest week or you could do a clip test that is fine, and a full roll might not work.

I had the former happen before they dated Xtol.

 

The stuff is cheap. Think of the work of getting all the latent images.
