I went down to the Yacht Club to put a coat of varnish on my boat and ran into this. I managed to get a coat of varnish on before they got the boat in the air.

This is Vincent Riou's IMOCO Open 60, PRB, in Halifax to make repairs. During the Atremis Transat Race, Mr Riou hit a whale shark damaging the keel and necessitating abandoning ship to the the saftey of a nearby competitor's boat. A tug boat with Mr Roy's support team was dispatched from Halifax to find and tow in the stricken vessel.

The first image is with the 24mm and the rest are with the wate.

Excellent series, especially the colors and details, but I worry for the whaleshark, the ocean's biggest fish, and one that terrifies only krill, plankton and spawn.
