fernando_b Posted May 28, 2008 Share #1 Posted May 28, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Someone here uses the scanner Braun digimag 4000 slidescan and knows how to modify the calibration files? I wrote to the person in Braun responsible for technical topics but received only a time wasting answer. Fernando.

robsteve Posted May 28, 2008 Share #2 Posted May 28, 2008 The calibration for scanners is usually part of the scanning software. If the software supports this feature, it will usually ship with a calibration slide to scan and then the software creates the calibration. If the software does not have this feature, you will need a higer end software such as Silverfast, or you can try Vuescan, but you will need to buy a calibration slide to use with it. Here is the source for the target. Thye will work with Silverfast or Vuescan. A boxed version of Silverfast will include the test slide. Affordable IT 8.7 (ISO 12641) Scanner Color Calibration Targets Silverfast can be found here. You will need to see if they have a specific version for your scanner.
