Â I have two cases: a) the Leica Neoprene, which is quite thin, and offers minimal protection, and useful whilst carrying the camera on one's shoulder inside a coat in cold-climates or thief territory. It is convenient to access the camera quickly...Approx USD$50.00 Â the Crumpler Zieube, is a better padded, and more water resistant case than the Neoprene. Though slightly bigger than the Neoprene. This one is more suitable for travelling around for a few days and can hold 2 batteries. It is difficult to purchase now, as it's not common, but is 1/3 the price of the Leica Neoprene case. It is a perfect fit for an L1/D3. It took me about 1 year to find one off ebay and Amazon, can be bought for $20. Â This is my second Crumpler, who make probably the most useful range of camera and messenger bags see <www.crumpler.com.au> and of course another great Aussie product... Â I also have a Crumpler Cucumberumba, which will take a D3/L1 with 14-50 lens plus 25mm. or the body+50-150 kit lens (Its just a longer version of the Zieube.). Got this one off ebay for $22. Mine is 4 millon dollar and was very useful for my L1+14-50, cleaning kit, 5 SD cards and some filters for a 1 month trip in Europe. Â Hello, yes you are correct, the models I mentioned, Crumpler Zieube and Cucumberumba do not exist on the Crumpler website as they are no longer sold there. Â I did however buy these off ebay. Â I wish I had my D3/L1 or even D2 when I visited Buenos Aires in 2000. Very pleasant country you have, BA looks very similar to Melbourne - Australia.
