spylaw4 Posted May 25, 2008 Share #1 Posted May 25, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've just acquired a pro9000 Canon printer. Where (in UK?) are the recommended places to get replacement ink cartridges and paper? Stores, or on-line - and preferably at good prices! Oh and while you're at it - reliable film suppliers? Thanks guys!
Advertisement Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 Hi spylaw4, Take a look here Printer inks. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Mark Antony Posted May 25, 2008 Share #2 Posted May 25, 2008 You could try Warehouse express or 7 day shop both are good on price, for your ink and paper. For film 7 Day shop are good, for B&W Retro-photographic have a nice range as do Silverprint. Mark

earleygallery Posted May 26, 2008 Share #4 Posted May 26, 2008 I tend to just got to PC World for ink (always buy Canon ink for my Canon printer, I don/t see the point in risking the 3rd party inks you see about). I've got quite a stock of paper, trying out Ilford (very nice) and the Harman papers which I'm having varying success with. Of course Canon papers work very well. I must compare prices with 7day shop.
spylaw4 Posted May 27, 2008 Author Share #5 Posted May 27, 2008 Yes James I agree about using rpoper inks - certainly while there is a guarantee in force! I'm simply trying to find the best priced reliable source! For paper I really like Ilford Classic Pearl and I'll need to try get a profile for it.
