JHAG Posted May 22, 2008 Share #1 Posted May 22, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Lightroom has a watermark and copyright feature in the Web module. Is there something in the Development or Library Module to create a visible copyright applying to every picture ? I don't find it and have to copyright manually in Photoshop. Having a batch of 300 pics to send to a client, I'm scratching my head.
Advertisement Posted May 22, 2008 Posted May 22, 2008 Hi JHAG, Take a look here Lightroom and copyright. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
streetshooter Posted May 22, 2008 Share #2 Posted May 22, 2008 When you import to LR, you can create a preset for copyright or anything for that matter. Click on import....choose the folder/files then a window comes and in there you will see... Metadata click on that and create new template.... put your stuff in and then every file has the copyright etc.... It's now embedded in the Metadata... shooter

cboudier Posted May 22, 2008 Share #4 Posted May 22, 2008 My question was about a visible © sthan in the image. Create a specific "identity plate" and then place it over your image in the print module (select place over all images) Then, export as jpeg in the file menu. Did not tried : tell us if it works :-)
cboudier Posted May 22, 2008 Share #5 Posted May 22, 2008 Lightroom has a watermark and copyright feature in the Web module. Then, why don't you use this !?! Create a new (or intelligent or quick) collection with the photos you want to mark Create a new Web Galery for this collection and keep only the modified images (trash the html code)
JHAG Posted May 22, 2008 Author Share #6 Posted May 22, 2008 No, sir, it doesn't. Already tried that too. Copyright appears only on print, not on file. I'll have a look in Bridge, see if there is a way to batch the thing. Second way is not an option : I cannot deliver pictures as a Web gallery, but only individual pics on a DVD. cboudier Posted May 22, 2008 Share #7 Posted May 22, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) No, sir, it doesn't. Already tried that too.Copyright appears only on print, not on file. Even if you "export" them ? Second way is not an option : I cannot deliverpictures as a Web gallery, but only individual pics on a DVD. That's why I wrote, keep only the folder containing the images, and trash the html code... Images should be in a separate folder

cboudier Posted May 22, 2008 Share #9 Posted May 22, 2008 The "export" fonction is definitely your friend :-) Fill in the copyright field in the metadata, and then in the dialog window of the eport fonction, select "Add Copyright Watermark" Only drawback, I don't know how to change the "size & font & place on the photo" of the text
JHAG Posted May 22, 2008 Author Share #10 Posted May 22, 2008 That's exactly what I do. Nothing in the image after export. I typed that © in every possible place, no avail. #@$€£?&!!☻☀✄☂
