vic vic Posted September 16, 2006 Share #3 Posted September 16, 2006 ha ha stefan... tell me can i use this guide with rollei too, or just with LEICA LEICA:-))))) albert, nothing wrong with photographing in the sun.... it is just tough game. u cannot make it perfect in the sun, so u have to try to get some approach. look at gibson fro example, he makes it through highlights, making balcks full balcks. but it is not as eassy as it sounds - a good sensetivity to FORMS and composition is needed (here too, u have to see it differently). using normal and long lenses is better in this condition to avoid the extra uncontrolable sapces covered by wider lenses. my country is at harsh sun most of the day all the year almost. i have never been in stefan places, but most of his counrty swimming in sun too, almost like israel. so u better stdy what to do with sun. but ya, ansel adams was rite - cloudy is the best to get the richest and full tonality contrasty and punchy picture. and also, try another angle, say from the top a bit from the side, she will slightly look upwords, it usualy makes women more charming wehn they look to the camera and directly photographed :-)))
