I used this filter on my Digilux at all times 1 to protect the lens. A good idea. I have kept a uva on my current camera (LC1) from birth.

 

Please note that to be used with the Leica Digilux 1 or Panasonic LC-5, a filter carrier must be used.

 

This should fit any other lens that has 49mm mount as well.

Please note the nicks in the metal. These occured from heavy use of my Digilux 1 and having the filter mounted at all times. They shouldn't effect performace.
