Speenth Posted May 13, 2008 Share #1 Posted May 13, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) We've just enjoyed a gloriously sunny long weekend in Vienna. The canny residents of this wonderful city head for the Wienerwald, or the lakes and mountains for these holiday weekends, but those of us who remain have just as much fun - especially when we have the Prater to wander through. Peaceful parkland in the heart of the city and the maddest, noisiest, funniest funfair anywhere. Everybody knows of the Prater's most venerable attraction, the Wheel (Wiener Radreisen) made famous by Orson Wells' classic movie, 'The Third Man'. Here, to counterpoint the elegant old lady, is one of the newer thrills of the Prater ... Both images taken using M8 and the new Summarit 90. The more I use this lens the more I like it - superb resolution and contrast, even wide open, albeit generally unremarkable bokeh. Its precise and wieldy in use and sufficiently compact to be contained within my standard Luigi full case!!
