C-Lux 2

I crawled on my belly like a snake each time she had he head under the murky water.

When she came up for air, I froze...... until I was twelve feet away.

All five of you....Thank you very much.

This is a very rare bird and totally wild. When she finally caught me looking at her she was gone in a flash....and a splash.

Excellent stalking technique and excellent photographic results. If you ever see wild giraffe getting ready to drink you will see exceptionally cautious behavior so that they are not surprised while their heads are down.

Stuart,

Thanks much. I couldn't believe that I didn't have my spotting scope in the car.....just the litttle C-Lux. Typical. I have always wanted to get close to a Trumpeter Swan and it happened at the most unexpected time.
