nedchiu Posted April 30, 2008 Share #1 Â Posted April 30, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello everyone, Â Still eagerly awaiting my D2 from NJ. Should be a couple more weeks. Where can I get a copy of the software package that came with the camera. I believe CD1 Leica camera software, CD2 Silverfast, CD3 Adobe Elements 2. My computer crashed a couple of weeks ago and I have to reload many of my applications. Luckily I did not loose any pictures. Now safely backed up and stored. Â Thank you in advance, Â Edwin

I have not installed any of it, except ACDSee. That is also not that hard to get.  cheers, Rob.
jaapv Posted May 6, 2008 Share #3 Â Posted May 6, 2008 Wouldn't it be simplest to purchase a copy of Lightroom and be a bit more sophisticated in the post-processing department? Or at least a trial?
wparsonsgisnet Posted May 6, 2008 Share #4 Â Posted May 6, 2008 I don't use any of the software that came with the D2, either, EXCEPT for ACDSee. It is one of my *most* used pieces of software. Â I am mostly a windoze user, but recently upgraded my Powerbook G4 laptop to Leopard. That *broke* iphoto, that I liked. The Viewer in Leopard is a sorry piece of s--t. I do not intend to get i-whatsit just to see photos and plan to load ACDSee on the G4 to view photos with. Â Apple has the best design and reliability and the worst customer-facing face in the business. Why they busted a perfectly good program makes no sense. Â Anyway, ACDSee is a terrific program.
