JHAG Posted April 27, 2008 Share #1 Posted April 27, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) No matter how I try on my Mac (reboot, close/open session, re-install) : Capture One won't open anymore. Icon indefinitely dances in the dock…

JHAG Posted April 27, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted April 27, 2008 Already tried this too, as a matter of course. No avail.
cboudier Posted April 27, 2008 Share #4 Posted April 27, 2008 Then, there may be a problem with MacOS or with your harddisk :-( Did you try to run the maintenance scripts and/or to use a disk repair utility (like the excellent DiskWarrior) ?
JHAG Posted April 27, 2008 Author Share #5 Posted April 27, 2008 I repaired authorization and did a NVRAM reset, just in case. I think I will Diskwarrior it — though I don't like to do it too often, and I did one in january. I scans the hard drive intensively, and puts stress on it. cboudier Posted April 27, 2008 Share #6 Posted April 27, 2008 I tried to re-installed my C1LE few days ago because it launched and... nothing more (no window) So I downloaded it from PhaseOne and the C1LE installer didn't launch ! Only C1 Pro installer ran correctly (but I don't have the license for it...) May be C1LE is no more supported under Leopard !?! --> did you try this also ? JHAG Posted April 27, 2008 Author Share #7 Posted April 27, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I had C1 LE with the M8. Won't launch either. I throwed preferences and C1 4 itself, then re-downloaded it and re-installed. That's the point I am now. Besides, C1 4 did often quit when running it. I wonder if there is not a stability issue with this app. I never had Aperture or Lightroom quitting or bugging.

marknorton Posted April 28, 2008 Share #10 Posted April 28, 2008 No problems here, but of course I am using a PC. I thought MACs were not meant to do this sort of thing?
JHAG Posted April 28, 2008 Author Share #11 Posted April 28, 2008 Oh yes, once in a blue moon. Even Ferraris need servicing.
